Painting has occupied me for all of my life, portraits are my passion!
On the basis of my several years of international education and further education, e.g. at art schools in Russia and art academies in Germany, as well as participation in international master classes, I mainly paint portraits at my current location in Frankfurt am Main, which have found international buyers and hang in Israel, Russia and the USA, among other places.
People and their emotional worlds are the main motif of my work. In doing so, I use one of the advantages of painting over photography, namely to be able to visibly illustrate the inner moods of those portrayed. Especially the eyes as mirror images of the soul, which are depicted as clearly and vividly as possible on the basis of the painting styles available to me, creating a unique and individual magic in each picture.
I create paintings based on my own inspiration, for example in my series of prominent personalities, as well as on commissions from private and institutional clients (anniversaries, families, weddings). Depending on the motif, e.g. depending on the number of people portrayed in a painting, and the planned destination, the spectrum of my works ranges from small to large format.

As I am suffering from multiple sclerosis I have lost my job and now I am classified Hartz IV. So I have much spare time for my hobby - watercolor painting. Since the 8th January 2020 I started with pictures in acrylic painting. I learned much about this kind of painting from you tube videos. Herbst ist meine Lieblingsjahreszeit, reich an Farben, Mustern, Geweben und Formen. Ich fühle mich gerade wie in meiner Kindheit, als ich durch einen dicken Laubteppich gelaufen bin und Früchte und Beeren gesammelt habe, um sie daheim herzuzeigen, und die Anwesenheit meines Rotkehlchnes genossen habe, während ich den Garten in weichen Socken und Gummistiefeln in Ordnung brachte. Lasst uns den Überfluss der Jahreszeit erkunden!

Farbe - geschichteter Stoff mit traditionellen Techniken appliziert, Patchwork und Quilten tragen dazu bei, eine reiche Palette von Grüntönen, warmen Brauntönen und herbstlichen Rot- Orange- und Goldtönen als Hintergrund für Verschönerungen durch Perlenschnüre, Pailletten und metallische Formen bereitzustellen. Variationen von Blauschattierungen zwischen Himmel und blassem Schatten. Fäden fügen eine weitere Schicht hinzu - entweder mit der Nähmaschine oder von Hand gestickt.

Muster - Gedruckten Stoff zu verwenden kann eine abstrakte Schöpfung anreichern, indem eine detaillierte Form von simplen Karos bis hin zu komplexen floralen Mustern hinzugefügt wird. Recyclete Kleider und weiche Möbelüberzüge bieten einen Schatz an Möglichkeiten. Ich genieße vor allem kühne Designs aus den Sixties und den Seventies, bunte Desings , die mit Perlenschnüren und Pailletten aufgepeppt werden.

Struktur - Plüschsamt und Vedloursleder lassen eine natürliche Oberflächentiefe entstehen. Wolle bringt Wärme. Gehäkeltes und Spitzen zeigen die feinen Strukturen von Spinnweben und  die skelettartigen Gerüste von entlaubten Bäumen. Seide und Satin ist leicht reflektierend und  glänzt leicht bei Sonnenlicht. Plastik und Gummi hat die wasserdichte Qualität von Blättern und Beeren. Und biegsames Plastik die Form von zerknitterten Blättern.

Ich verwende recyclete Materialien und liebe Stoffe, die natürlich verwittert sind, die den Prozess der Deakdenz zeigen. Die Stoffe nur ungenau zuschneiden, um sie ausgefranst aussehen zu lassen, lässt eine Stofftiefe zwischen den Lagen entstehen. Und verschiedenartige Verschönerungen (aus Metall, Holz, Plastik und Glas) lässte eine reiche Oberflächentiefe innerhalb der textilen Struktur entstehen.

Abstrakte Form -  Die Köpfe von Samen und komplikzierte Skelettstrukturen haben ein schönes sklulpturales Aussehen, das erfasst werden kann, indem eine Mehrzahl von angefertigten Plastikformen mit weggeschnittenen Mustern und Beulen angebracht werden. Winzige Glas- und Plastikschnüre erinnern mich an die heruntergefallenen Geröllstücke, die auf den Spazierwegen im Wald liegen. Die Verschönerungen zu verändern, lässte einen Teppich einer anderen Jahreszeit entstehen, jeder mit seiner eigenen nachdenklichen Qualität, die die verschiedenen Dimensionen von Licht und Wärme während der Jahreszeit einfängt.

Sprache und Dichtung -  Ich verwende Dichtung, um die Essenz eines Themas zu erfassen und um ein abstraktes Textil mit geschriebenen Vorstellungen zu verschöneren, die von Hand mit Seiden- oder Wollfäden eingestickt werden. 'Autumn 2' erfasst das Ende des Herbstes, wenn die Blätter abgefallen sind und die Bäume die Formen von Skulpturen annehmen: " Skelettartige Gerüste nehmen die Form von alten Knochen an, spröde und kalt. Nackt jetzt, voll ausgestzt..."

Wolle - Wolle in meinen Herbstwerken zu verwenden, fügt zusätzliche Farbe, Tiefe, Wärme und Muster innerhalb der Struktur des Gestrickten und Struktur ( je haaraiger umso besser) ein.  Ich verwende Pullover und Decken als gute Basis, auf der ich arbeiten kann. Ich liebe französiche Strickarbeit, die röhrenförmige Strukturen kreiert ähnlich den herbstliche Kokons der überwinternden Insekten. Je dicker die Wolle, umso größer die Struktur in den Begriffen von Stärke, Form aund Größe. Indem flache Patchwork Paneele verschönert werden, wird Tiefe innerhalb der Oberfläche geschaffen. Einfach handgestickt auf dem richtigen Platz.

Eine Einfassung mit wollenen Pompons (eine andere Freude, die ich in meiner Kindheit gelernt habe) ist nicht nur effektiv, indem eine unterschiedliche Reihe von Farbe und Form hinzugefügt wird, sondern schafft Gewicht innerhalb der Struktur der Textilie. "Autum 1" zeigt einen Teppich von gefallenen Blättern in lebendigen Herbstfarben.
